We’ve known of Nikhil Narendra since his days with iconic (now unfortunately defunct) alternative rock band The Bicycle Days. He’s been laying low since the band parted ways in 2014, but recently emerged once again with a couple of quality electronic beat-based productions.

Narendra began tinkering with audio programs and teaching himself how to make music since he was 17 before he joined The Bicycle Days. Encouraged by friends and “scenesters” in Bangalore’s burgeoning underground scene, he finally made the decision to put out his solo work for the world to see.

“Until recently, I’ve always tried to mimic artists I was listening to when I was younger. I’m 27 now, and I’m trying to find my own means of expression through making music. I just play around with sound till something magical happens and I feel good about it. That’s what I’ve been doing for years. I make music because I’ve always been into it. It keeps me grounded and makes me happy. It’s just something I do everyday.”
